If you do this at level 77 and are lagging you can fly in and get it and out again without dismounting *g*

the building that actually HAS the tunnel entrance (and is marked on the map as the northernmost of the three pictured buildings in thor modan) has nothing to do with this quest. you want a building across the path from the southern & eastern ones...

The locations of the buildings are on this map.

If you stepped just the circle inside the building, then you have done investigate.
But you must fight some mobs inside the building.
Inside north building, just inside the room.

Uncovering the Tunnels

Brugar Stoneshear at the Westfall Brigade Encampment wants you to explore the North Building, the East Building, and the South Building of Thor Modan.

	Investigate South Building (1)

Description

The first place we'll search for entrances to the Thor Modan tunnel system will be the outlying buildings.

As I left the site with my men, it looked like the iron dwarf defenders were taking refuge inside the buildings. Be careful as you explore them.

Any tunnel entrances are likely to be toward the back of the buildings. I'm not sure what Stoutmantle thinks we're going to find down there, but I doubt the iron dwarves will make the search easy.
